What are the advantages of St. Pauls House's location?
St. Pauls House is conveniently located on the north side of Chicago on California avenue. It is located very close to public transportation and offers plenty of free parking. We are also located near two parks and a playground for outdoor fun. Our neighborhood also has many options for restaurants and coffee shops.
What services and amenities will be available at St. Pauls House?
St. Pauls House offers a community designed to promote a lifestyle of wellness. Programming includes various activities to enhance physical, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing. Amenities, including a chapel, library, and salon designed to make everyday life more convenient. Around the campus you'll find wonderful outdoor spaces. All residences are maintenance-free with utilities and weekly housekeeping included. Also included are all real estate property taxes and building insurance.
Food is important, What can I expect?
MyTastes is Lutheran Life Communities’ signature culinary program that is customized to meet the needs of residents with a focus on high quality ingredients, excellent preparation and good nutrition. Residents are given choices for their food at every meal.
What security measures are in place?
St. Pauls House insists on 24-hour security for our residents and employees. We take very seriously the safety and security of both.
What levels of health care will be offered on campus?
St. Pauls House offers private Assisted Living in one-bedroom and studio residences, Skilled Nursing in private and semi-private suites arranged in a neighborhood setting and specialized Memory Support in private accommodations. In addition, rehabilitation services are provided to aid residents in a return to wellness following an injury, illness or surgery. Having all these levels of care available on campus enables couples to stay close to each other when one has a health care need. This provides priceless peace of mind to residents and their families.
What financial plans are available?
St. Pauls House is proud of the fact that we are a month to month rental community offering a lifetime of care. This means that there is no “buy-in” up front but simply a monthly rental program with the assurance that when assets are depleted, your care will continue in the same standard you have always enjoyed.
What religious services are provided?
St. Pauls House has a fulltime chaplain to assist with the spiritual needs of our residents and their famililes. The beautiful chapel offers weekly Christian and Catholic services and communion as well as monthly Catholic Mass.
